GOAL

Partnership’s presentation

Faced with the particularly chronic crisis in Niger in 2010, GOAL wished to react rapidly by financially supporting the ALIMA/BEFEN project.

In 2011, GOAL and ALIMA are working even more closely together through a joint operational research project that aims to demonstrate the efficiency of new strategies for the prevention of severe chronic malnutrition.

GOAL’s presentation

GOAL is a non-governmental, non-denominational and non-political organization whose objective is to contribute to alleviate the suffering of the poorest populations.

Since its inception in 1977, GOAL has spent close to 650 million euros on humanitarian programs in almost 50 countries.

GOAL aims at guaranteeing access to fundamental needs and to the right to life and particularly the access to water, food, housing, care and education to the poorest and the most vulnerable populations of the world, and victims of crisis.  At the same time GOAL advocates to improve the transparency and denounce the abuses of some political regimes.
