In 2011, ALIMA has been working on 8 projects, in 5 countries.
118 000 Patients
In 2010, ALIMA allowed, by its action, the taking care of 40.000 children suffering from severe ill-nutrition. It also treated 65.000 patients suffering from malaria in Niger. In Haiti, ALIMA applied surgery to 1.500 wounded people and took care of 13.000 people suffering from cholera. Last but not least, 21 Iraqi and Egyptian children that have congenital heart deformation could have been operated by our teams.

ALIMA works with 12 local and national partners, including BEFEN in Niger (Bien Etre de la Femme et de l’Enfant au Niger), The Alliance Malienne contre le Paludisme (AMCP) in Mali, The Emergency Response Network (NETRESE) in DRC, Ibn el Bitar in Iraq, or the Hôpital de la Communauté Haïtienne in Prt-au-Prince, Haiti.
1 200 Human Resources
ALIMA, is 15 people working in the head office located in Montreuil, close to Paris, France.
ALIMA was also, in 2010, 204 departures of international staff to the field for a length varying from two weeks to a year. On June 30th, 2011, more than 1,200 people were working directly with ALIMA’s projects (including 1,000 employees and 200 community workers).
2% Financial Resources
In 2010, ALIMA’s budget was 2.5 milion euros. 98% of the budget is dedicated to the social mission and 2% to the functioning. In 2011, ALIMA’s budget is 5.5 milion euros.
